Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · 8 November 2026

These terms govern your use of the Memex apps (for iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web) and the MeshWeaver cloud service operated by Systemorph AG ("Systemorph", "we"). By creating an account or using the apps you accept them. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. The service

Memex is a workspace for notes, documents, conversations with AI assistants, and the mail, calendar and messages you choose to connect. The apps are clients: they connect to the cloud service, or to a MeshWeaver installation run by an organisation. Use of an organisation's installation is also governed by that organisation's own terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most features. Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. You can delete your account at any time in the app's account settings or by writing to info@systemorph.com.

3. Plans and payment

Basic use is free. Paid plans are offered on the web, where each plan's licence is shown and accepted before you subscribe — see Licences. The iOS app does not sell plans or other digital content.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in the content you put into Memex. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it in order to provide the service to you and the people you share it with — nothing more. You are responsible for having the right to upload and share what you add, and for the content of messages you send. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. AI features

AI assistants can be wrong. Check their output before relying on it, in particular for legal, medical, financial or other important decisions. Drafts the assistant writes for your mailbox are saved for you to review; nothing is sent in your name without your action.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Memex to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam or malware, to harass anyone, to access others' data without permission, or to disrupt or probe the service without our written consent. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We develop the service continuously and may change or discontinue features. We will tell you in advance of a change to these terms that materially affects you.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Systemorph is liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

9. App stores

If you downloaded an app from Apple's App Store, Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms; where they conflict for your use of the iOS app, these terms prevail to the extent Apple permits.

10. Law and venue

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Zurich, Switzerland, have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer venues.
