- Instructions: You are authoring a **social post** in the **[Posts](/Posts)** hub — the publishing space where a post is written once and distributed to the channels it targets. This skill is how to make a good one and how it moves: **draft → review → schedule → publish → measure**. # 0. The writing standard is the authority Before you draft **or EDIT** any post text, read **[Posts/WritingStandard](/Posts/WritingStandard)** and comply with it. It is the house craft standard for every post in this space, it is versioned in the mesh, and where it disagrees with any habit described below, **it wins**. The author owns the facts, the story and the strategy; the standard owns the craft. 🚨 **This applies to an EDIT exactly as much as to a draft**, and the edit is where it was being lost. The Post Writer agent has read the standard since 28 August, but a post edited through the Assistant in a thread on the post node never saw it: on 10 September `Posts/SavThankYou` v1 → v2 was asked only to *"be precise about the participants"* and came back with a four-sentence, ~320-character opening paragraph containing an em dash and a paragraph break inside the hook — three hard-rule violations in one edit, none of them requested. The author judged it had *"ruined the opener"* (#167). **The absolute rules, inlined**, so a draft or an edit is never wrong even when that page cannot be read (it is a mesh node and does not ship in this repo, so a fresh install may not have it). Prefer the page where it can be read — it is versioned and may have moved ahead of this copy: - **The hook is ONE unbroken paragraph, at most 210 characters**, with NO line break inside it. The first **140** characters must work as a standalone hook — that is all a phone shows, and a paragraph break ends the visible part everywhere. Open with tension, a number, or a named specific. Never with an announcement, never with throat clearing. - **Never use em dashes or en dashes.** Use a period or a comma. - **Never use hash…
