Your mission. Start with a very ordinary thing — a pencil — and build it into an invention, one «yes, and…» at a time. Then plan the drawing.

How it works

«Yes, and…» is storm rule number 4. You never say «no, but…» — you take the last idea and add something to it. Like this:

A pencil that glows in the dark → yes, and it writes in any colour you say out loud → yes, and it remembers everything it has written → yes, and…

Every step keeps the idea from before and adds one new thing. It works even better with a friend: take turns, one step each.

When your chain is long enough, give your invention a name and plan a drawing of it. Grab a pencil and a sheet — a real one this time!
