An agent knows everything in general and nothing about your business β until you change that. This course is about changing that: the words, the tools, and the handbook that make an AI coworker genuinely useful.
Something has changed at work, and it is bigger than a better chatbot. An agent is software that doesn't just answer β it does:
- reads your documents,
- drafts your quotes,
- structures your messy notes into clean tables,
- builds small tools on request.
Working with one is not a technical skill. It is a management skill β briefing, delegating, checking β and you already have it. What you are missing is a handful of words and an afternoon of practice. That is exactly what this course is.
You practise on a real (small) business: Rosehill Catering, a two-person catering studio you have just taken over. By lesson 3 its messy order notes are a live table, its quotes come from a tool you wished into existence, and its agent answers questions it could not answer on day one β because you taught it.
Who is this course for
Business people who have not worked with agents yet: owners, managers, consultants, office all-rounders. If you have ever briefed a colleague or a supplier, you have every skill this course needs. No programming, no setup β everything runs right on these pages.
What you will be able to do
- Use the five words of agentic work β agent, model, skill, harness, knowledge base β and know when to reach for which
- Brief an agent the way you'd brief a capable new colleague: context, task, what "done" looks like
- Wish a simple GUI β a real, clickable business tool β onto the page, and improve it by wishing again
- Recognise a skill with a UI part: one pops a question, one opens a door, one hands you a whole working GUI β try all three live, then build your own
- Turn messy notes into structured data you can total, sort and trust
- Build and extend a knowledge base β watch the agent's answers change the moment you do β and finish with a real app for your own business: a node type, data nodes, a derived total
The three lessons
- Lesson 1 β Meet your new coworker β what an agent is, the five words around it, and the one rule of delegation: say WHAT, decide yourself.
- Lesson 2 β Wish for a tool β software on demand for business: a working quote calculator, live on the page, plus the skills that pop up a question before they run.
- Lesson 3 β Data and the handbook β from a voicemail mess to a clean order table, and the knowledge base that makes the agent yours.
The tasks β where you actually do it
Every lesson has three tasks, from easy to hard, each with its own solution page and writable worksheets that keep your notes:
- Lesson 1 Β· the tasks Β· solutions β the words, your first brief, and choosing the right tool for four real situations.
- Lesson 2 Β· the tasks Β· solutions β wish your own tool into existence, improve one, and build a skill you can actually run.
- Lesson 3 Β· the tasks Β· solutions β structure a mess, feed the handbook, and build a real app for your own business.
How every lesson works
